This year CRIMT is organising a pre-conference Doctoral Workshop under the umbrella theme of actors and institutional or organizational experimentation with a focus on better work for a better society, which will take place in a hybrid format on Wednesday 26th October, a day prior to the main CRIMT conference. It will take place in both French and English, in person attendance will be in Montreal, and online attendance will be via zoom.
One of the workshops will take a critical friend format, whereby participants at any stage of their PhD journey will receive and provide constructive feedback on their work by an expert in their field and a group of PhD’s working on similar topics. Abstract and full paper submissions are required for students to participate in the critical friends portion of the CRIMT Doctoral workshop. Other sessions are open to all students.
This format follows the success of the BUIRA sessions that have taken place over the last few years and offers a unique opportunity to get to know fellow academics and postgraduate research students in the field, exercise critical thinking and receive constructive feedback on your ideas from an expert outside of your supervisory team.
Please read this document for details.
Please submit abstracts to register your interest by Friday 2nd September 2022.
