PLAN YOUR CONFERENCE
CONFERENCE VENUE
The conference will take place in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building of HEC Montreal. This building is located at 3000 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine (Google Map), approximately 200 meters from the Université de Montréal Metro station (Subway map) and about twenty minutes from downtown Montreal.
ACCOMMODATION
After receiving the confirmation of acceptance for your proposal, we recommend making your hotel reservation without delay, either close to the Côte-des-Neiges metro station (Subway map), which is conveniently located near the conference venue, or in downtown Montreal. There are reserved blocks of rooms at discounted rates in three hotels, with one being in close proximity to the Côte-des-Neiges station (Terrasse Royale Hotel). It is worth noting that there are more restaurants available downtown than near HEC Montreal.

Other accommodation options
To explore alternative accommodation options, we suggest visiting the Montreal Tourism website.
REMOTE PARTICIPATION
All conference sessions will be live-streamed on Zoom. To take advantage of this option, online participants will simply need to click on the designated icon at the top of each sessionwhen the time comes.
Before the conference, registered individuals – whether they are participants in the program or have registered through the event website – will receive a copy of the program containing active Zoom links to connect to the various sessions.
In preparation of the conference, participants will ensure to download or update the Zoom application on the device (computer, phone, or tablet) they will use to remotely access the various sessions.
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION
All participants attending the conference, whether they are present in person or joining remotely, will have to use the Zoom application in order to access the simultaneous interpretation service.
Simply follow the procedure outlined below:
As the conference approaches, participants will ensure to download or update the Zoom application on the device (computer, phone, or tablet) they will be using to access simultaneous interpretation.
In addition to the device mentioned in point 1, on-site participants should remember to bring a pair of headphones, have their device charger with them, and if necessary, bring an appropriate power adapter. To avoid causing any disruption to the speakers or fellow attendees, on-site participants must plug in their headphones before the start of the sessions. Failure to do so will result in a loud repetitive echo being heard.
Sessions marked with the following symbol in the program will have simultaneous interpretation available. Participants (whether present in person or online) can easily access this feature by clicking on the Zoom icon at the top of the session when the time comes. This will prompt the automatic opening of the Zoom application. Participants must remember to turn off their camera and microphone before the start of each session (refer to the image below).
To access the interpretation function, participants simply need to click on the globe-shaped icon located at the bottom of the Zoom window (as shown in the image below), and then select the language of their choice (French or English).
